you can use a simple Midi connection with Arduinos, or use WIFI. ISB is certainly possble, but will take more coding and you'll have to have a USB stack as part of your code. It could come from so many possible issue sources!
Assuming your routing and cables are all good, You could have polarity, EQ, effects, anything in your audio processing itself.

From the earlier post where you show the vegas mode "all white" scribble, it really looks like a LCD HW driver issue, or if you're lucky a cable that moved somehow if it's the LCD HW. Fixing it is certainly possible, and finding the exact same LCD assy/part may be difficult. We'll help if ...

Give a name to your consoles using the /prefs/style OSC command; You can then query the data to know which console you're talking to.
