Actually, no, because it is a hardware limitation in the DSP - same with the X32.

Unfortunately that is not possible. Stereo linking channels can only be done with odd/even pairs (eg. chan 5/6).

Re: X-Live - Recording broken into multiple files

Is there any way to get it to produce one file? Welcome to our forum. The answer to your question is - no not really. Fat32 (which the SD card has to be formatted to for X-Live) has a 4Gb file size limit. So the X-Live card makes multiple 4Gb files in order to record the 16 tracks for 2 hours. Thos...

Re: Signal from one aux pair appearing on other auxes

I'll have to try it when I get back to town. Thank you! What did you change? I was also out of town (doing sound for a runathon) when I modified your scene. On a hunch, triggered by thomas post, I started looking for any odd-ball routing or internal looping. At 5am I didn't have a lot of time to an...

Then I misunderstand what you want to accomplish. Please say again what it is that is not working and how you want it to work.

Hey @humhead, both Audacity and Reaper have the ability to explode the 4-track to individual tracks.

Re: Signal from one aux pair appearing on other auxes

I'm struggling to understand why signal from Aux 7&8 (configured to use the USB player in this scene) is appearing also post-fader on all the other auxes? Select Aux 7, then go to the Sends screen. If you are using X32-Edit, the taps are at the top. If you are using the console's screen, the ta...

Re: X32 Rack Weird Routing / IO Problem

I did try this, and all the channels worked perfectly but only through OBS and not through my DAW (Reaper). The signals going to both apps (OBS and Reaper) will be identical, since they are fed via USB from the X32 to the computer. But if you are using Windows, the OS may not allow the USB signals ...

Re: X32 Rack Weird Routing / IO Problem

Channels 1-8 are not mixable, or level-able whatsoever... I don't know why. Welcome to our forum. I believe, we have discussed this on the official forum and I mentioned that the assignments on the User Out screen (outputs 3-8) are Local 3-8 which are signals directly after the preamps of the XLR-M...
