Re: New stagebox firmware
DaveT With regard to the SD series I would have to agree. Not sure what this update does for anyone. With the S/DL stageboxes there is a fairly elaborate chart showing what each mode does. The SD boxes have no modes so who knows. Maybe they now make better coffee? I did not get to connect any to a ...

Re: New firmware v3 for SD stage boxes
DaveT ill try to get my wing and a few sd’s connecting later to see my outcome. I would suspect that they daisy chain like they always did, that is inputs +8/16 etc and outputs (switch selected) downstream. I would hope the Wing syncs green with the directly connected, closest one at least. Otherwi...

Re: New firmware v3 for SD stage boxes
@DaveT
I was able to use Win11 without any issue (for firmware update) I did not try connecting to a Wing but it was fine for X32.
EDIT: Do you have Wing firmware 2.0 installed?

Re: S32 won't update firmware
I just decided to try to update an SD8 to 3.0. Using my usual Win11 i19 pc and had no problem with the installation at all. I then did an SD16 and 2 more SD8's all without issue. angr77 So it appears it does work on a "modern" pc. I figured it would not work, surprised it did. Which is why...

Re: S32 won't update firmware
Does anyone have a clue as to what the 3.0 update for the SD models really does? It almost sounds like it allows their A/B ports to be used like the S/DL32 with input connection allowed from either port by 2 different mixers at once. That would be a GREAT addition if true. I fear that all it really ...

Re: X16 : Need latest frimware
@golfgv55 Think all those versions, both Midas and B, have broken links. I have 1.20 if that helps until they sort it...link below..

New stagebox firmware
New firmware for S/DL32/16 etc released, supposedly fixes Wing issues for use with both pirts and also I see new firmware for SD16/8 with Wing support. Not sure what that means for SD versions regarding “both ports”. Good news overall!

Re: X-Live update
Parabolic Sorry my attempt to help didn't meet your approval. Skimming 2 short sentences, really? MY card is the one working here btw. Doing the firmware update incorrectly can cause failure so (imo) the process involved to do the update correctly was worth talking about. If that's not the issue so...

@technopolizei Are you talking about an internal card? If so do the registration utility.

Re: Behringer X32 + SD16, no connection over 150’ cable?
pvannatto Dan Mortensen Thanks Paul, this was very interesting to me, especially the Fluke test stuff. Except for max length tests it pretty much aligns with my real world results with Cat7/Cat8. As I recall from my own tests, I saw failure somewhere between 320 and 350 feet BUT I had no 1 section ...
