Re: X32 ADAT Tap Points
Output 9 - 16 in the out section were followed by an asterisk, impliyng that they didn't have a physical output since I use the X32 Compact version Ignore those stupid asterisks. I told them when they added them to the firmware that it was stupid and would only confuse the masses. Feel free to use ...

Re: snippets problem
Can you point me toward where I can get your snippet edit tool? thanks If you export your snippet (using the Utility button) to a file, you can edit the snippet data using a text editor (such as Notepad++). The tool that Kevin suggested is Scene Parser . This tool imports a scene file and allows th...

Re: Where should I set the send point in the Send Tab?
So what will be the problems if we use all the FX pre fader? Maybe you could explain it to me beause I think I didn't I would suggest that you try it (pre-fader taps). You will quickly hear the problem. Set your vocal mixes as desired and the sends mixes to the FX engines. Then raise a vocal channe...

Re: X32 ADAT Tap Points
Am I right or completely missing a worklfow loophole? This all seems needlesly complex. The reason for the X32/M32 complexity is mainly due to the initial design which began over 15 years ago. Add to that, compromises had to be made in the design and hardware (chipsets, memory, etc.) in order to re...

Re: X32 ADAT Tap Points
Hi HHHHHH , welcome to our forum. I would agree that you are confused. * Tap points are only available on the routing patching screens (Out 1-16, Aux Out, Ultranet (also called P16)). * The Out 1-16 assignments are not necessarily the local outs. * Routing on the X32/M32 is done in 2 stages. ** Stag...

Re: Where should I set the send point in the Send Tab?
We work with In-Ears and of course the singer get a delay and a reverb in his In-Ear. Evidently you only have one singer in your band. If that is the case, the issues I explained are moot points. If you had given more details (one singer in your band, your concern of FX in IEMs, what F.E. stands fo...

Re: Where should I set the send point in the Send Tab?
But if, a singer f.e., uses an in-ear, which gets the signal pre-fader and he wants some delay or reverb on the in-ear, your way will not work. Neither pre or post taps will work as expected with IEM mixes. The reason is that the channel sends to the mixbuses that feeds the FX engines are FOH mix f...

Re: Where should I set the send point in the Send Tab?
@STELO, channel sends to FX should always be post fader in order to maintain the wet/dry ratio during a performance.
