Re: Output signal on Flow 8
Hello and welcome,
Which 6.35mm jacks are you connecting to? Probably the Monitor Send 1 and 2 outputs which are NOT the same as the Mail L and Main R, but separate mono mixes you set up for monitoring purposes usually for live performers. You need really to use the output from the XLR sockets to get what you expect. Two adaptors or a new lead is required!
Best regards,
Karn.

Re: Output signal on Flow 8
Thank you for your reply! I will look for 2 x female XLR to 3.5 mm cable. in a meantime I see that the USB cable connected to smartphone from Flow 8 is also giving an audio+video signal for stream. But I don`t know which quality will be better - via USB or XLR cable from Main l + R
Re: Output signal on Flow 8
The USB signal will avoid being converted to analogue and back to digital, but converters are so good these days the difference will be small.

Re: Output signal on Flow 8
Sorry, I didn`t understand what you have said. If I will use 2 x XLR femaile - 3.5 mm cable (MAIN OUTPUT on Flow 8) compare to USB connection to smartphone - which one will provide a better video and audio quality during streaming on smartphone??
Re: Output signal on Flow 8
I don't think you'll notice the difference.
If anything, the USB should be marginally better.

Re: Output signal on Flow 8
Good day!
Going back to the issue with output signal from Behringer Flow 8 while streaming on tiktok (via smartphone)... When I connect mixer to smartphone via USB - I have both mic and music from lapptop playing but once recorded I hear that the quality is not good and too quiet. Still when connect 2 XLR Output connection to 3.5 mm to connect to phone - I can hear voice and music but after recording there is still only voice and no music. Just to remind - I use laptop music (minues, covers) as a source of music and mic for singing. Condenser mic is in 1 MIC port on flow 8 and 3.5 x 3.5 cable I connect from laptop to 5 port (just bekow 1 st) on mixer.
The only thing - the 2 XLR cable to 3.5 mm (is TRS and not TRRS) can it be a problem why the music is not recorded. Though I think that 3 rings (TRRS) is used to provide video signal, Can it be a reason of the issue?

Re: Output signal on Flow 8
Please note the mono inputs are not 5 and 7 but 6 and 8. Connect your music into 6 if going into one, ideally stereo 3.5 to two 6.35mm jacks is the ideal cable and go into 5 and 6.
Connecting to a smart phone via the mini jack port can have its issues. You might find the recording is only taking one side of the XLR - mini jack cable. This will be specific to your mobile phone.
If you are not getting good recording quality via USB, then the smartphone and its operating system are likely the issue - the quality is excellent when recording into my Mac or iPad for sure. The audio part of Android is not a match for iOS or iPad OS unfortunately (latency issues too).
