Behringer DEQ2496 C81 20p

Post by CandMe »

Hi everyone, my first post here and hope I can get some help.

I recently bought a DES2496 Ultra Curve Pro.
Sadly, it has a glitch in the LCD Display.
I opened her up and discovered that a Capacitor on yhe Mainboard, right next to the Front panel connector is not there. It looks like it broke off and disappeared. There is no burn residue etc. So i assume bad soldering etc.

I would like to replace this, but do not know what to buy to replace it.

It's C81, 20p

Can anyone help me in the right direction?

Many many thanks in advance.

Welcome to our forum. Go to the official Behringer forum site, under support at the top. Once inside, there is a section for parts ordering and replacement.

Thanks for your message, and welcoming.

Do the sell components, resistors, capacitors, or just main boards etc?

It would be great if i knew the capacitor value and voltage, then i could order and resolder. I am in Germany. Not sure where Behringer resides. Please don't say Germany 🤣🤣

I don't know if the 20p stands for 20pF but I would expect it to.

Behringer always was German owned, and I suspect Music Tribe is now based there given Uli Behringer appears to be CEO.

Best, Karn.

I assume it's 20pF too.
I can only find a 20pF of this type, with a 50v max Current.

I'll try it.

Thanks for your help about the official forum. I registered, posted, awaiting some help.

Many thanks
