Hi All!
I have for some time both collected some baseline settings and was actually preparing for a small show on my Wing console - when the idea struck me to share my baseline with you all! (I am guessing, I have still only seen Drew B doing this in the past - something which he is charging a small fee for!)
I have for some time been collecting good EQ settings for about 15 different sources - Vocals, Speech, Piano, Kick, Bass, Snare etc...and together for these sources (the best knowledge) also added gate and compressor types. I have also picked my most used effects when gigging. I have saved these channels in separate files (.chn) and stored them on a USB Stick.
I have been using this baseline for a numerous gigs on my Wing - which speeds up the process to set up a good baseline on a Wing Console. (Even on Wing consoles that I don't own)
I just had an idea so share these settings with you all!
So, start the chain saw!!
Created and stored with Wing FW 3.02.
If you want to open a chn file - unpack the ZIP file and store the content on USB Stick. Insert it in the Wing and open up "library" on your Wing - move to the "Channel" tab - select the USB Stick for storage. You can now select a free channel - and just pick the file from the USB Stick menu with settings you want to insert - e.g. like vocals - and just press load! Ready!
Best Regards
