We use the x-USB USB card with USB 2-0 cable to send up to 16 channels from x32 to OBS studio on PC using the ASIO OBS plugin.
The PC is a high spec Pentium with nearly 200Gb RAM.
The card is configured for 16 channels out.
Most of the time, this works well for streaming of our Sunday service.
However occasionally, some or all audio channels to OBS via USB card are completely lost.
This is a seemingly random event but usually at an inopportune moment.
The channels can only be restored by restarting OBS Studio.
Any thoughts on avoiding these occurrences would be gratefully received.
TIA
Channel Dropouts
Re: Channel Dropouts
Welcome to our forum. We also have that occasionally happen with OBS for our church livestream. Our solution is to ask our resident IT tech to have a look. He usually clicks on a bunch of stuff, mutters a lot and finally gets it working again. Not sure if either Windows or OBS is possessed and he has to exorcise them, or what (I personally switched to linux a few years ago). Wish I could help further.
