WSG AOIP module for WING

@GaryH A question for you maybe... A WING user has found (don't know how) a WSG AOIP module and would like to know if that module can be set in a DANTE card (the tray version) for use in WING...
I think it cannot, but I may be wrong. Do you know if the AOIP 'surrounding' electronics would be independent from the module itself and therefore the tray is 'just an electrical' interface?

@pmaillot I think it will work IF the actual WSG card is the correct size, that is, it's the exact same physical size and pin structure as the Dante cards that go in the internal Wing slot are. The WSG cards that will work with the Wing will be that size. He would then have to run the Wing registration utility, same as for registering a Dante card, except you type "MOD-WSG" (minus the quotes). That will allow the console to recognize there is a WSG card available for routing. I am unsure if the WSG cards out there come in different sizes or not or if there is some certain firmware that needs loading-but I would suspect not from (casual) reading the QSG for the WSG card.
