I use compressed air. Make sure you get the anti-static (ESD safe) kind for electronics.

thank you...i have a problem on my channel 1 strip...it seems to make higher ground noise (nothing connected to the jacks)...i copied this one channel settings to another channel and that one seems to be a lot more silent...
can it be that´s just some dust and it only needs to be cleaned...or could it be the channel preamp is broken or so...? what´s the best way to check that out...?
could i use my real compressor as well...? (but that´s not really antistatic...right?)
thanks a lot!

I had a similar problem, oddly enough, with channel 1, and cleaning it with compressed air cleared it up for me.

NO. Don't use air from a real compressor. Compressed air is very dry and dry air moving at a high rate of speed generates a lot of static electricity. I've never looked at the chemical makeup of the ESD safe spray but I suspect it has something in it to dissipate the charge. Amazon sells it for around $10/can.
