Behringer Ultracoustic AT108 Guitar Amplifier

Post by Indiana »

Hi,

I have a Behringer Ultracoustic AT108 Guitar Amplifier and want to also use it to receive a Bluetooth signal from my mobile phone/laptop.
Basically, make it into a Bluetooth speaker...

I bought a 3.5 aux Bluetooth receiver, before realizing (Had a senior moment!) that the 3.5 jack was too small.

Is there an adaptor on the market I can buy to make this fit?

There are 3 inputs on the Behringer (Instrument Input - CD Input - Head Phones), into which would I plug the Bluetooth adaptor, to make it work?
If it works at all? (Has anyone tried?)

Thanks,
Indy

Hi Indiana,

Sorry, but I'm not understanding what you want converted. You say that you have a 3.5 aux and want to convert it to a 3.5 jack. Aren't they the same size?

Hi Paul,

Sorry, I'm probably not using the correct terminology.

If you look at the accompanying photo you will see what I have bought (It's a 3.5mm Bluetooth audio adaptor)

The problem I have is it's not wide enough to fit into one of the 3 Behringer inputs (Instrument Input - CD Input - Head Phones)

I need to buy some kind of 'adaptor' to connect to the end, which would then make it fit into one of the 3 Behringer inputs.

Hope that makes sense.

I think I have found what I need, a 6.35mm Male to 3.5mm Female Jack Converter Plug.

I could still do with someone telling me which input I need to plug it into (Instrument Input - CD Input - Head Phones) to make the amplifier into a Bluetooth speaker to receive and listen to music off my mobile or laptop?

Hey Indiana, yes that is what you need - 6.35mm Male to 3.5mm Female adapter, similar to this. These frequently come with headphones, etc. (I have a small bag of them).

The headphone jack is an output, isn't it? Try the CD input. If you don't like how that sounds, try the instrument input.

I think it is quite impossible to convert it into Bluetooth speaker.

He doesn't want to convert it. He just wants to input a Bluetooth receiver into the amplifier. That is certainly doable.

BTW, I used to this with my small club PA system, using and Avantree Saturn Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver.
