Preset Compilation

Post by pvannatto »

A few years ago, one of the Behringer forum members compiled a package of presets for the X-Air and M-Air consoles. These can also be used with the X32 and M32, since the FX engines are identical. Attached is this package. Enjoy.

Also attached are a couple of presets provided by @KMaxwell (thanks Kevin).

There are a number of effects presets categorised by FX type - eg. Wave Designer, Vintage Room, Vintage Reverb, Stereo Tube Stage, etc. as well as some channel presets and a few X-Air (M-Air) specific scenes or partial scenes (snippet like).

I'm going to download them and see how they sound on my X32. Thanks!

Great idea Gerad. By the way, these preset works with both the X-Air, M-Air, X32 and M32.

I've started this process. As longas no alterations have been made to my Channel or FX infrastructures, which they shouldn't, these files will work on all projects.

Is there a link explaining how to install these presets? I need a 101 level tutorial on what to do with the files once I download and unzip them. Do I copy them to my XR? Do I have to use XAir Edit or can I use the Android app? Thanks.

Hi @topper2k, welcome to the forum. Yes you need to use X-Air Edit (Windows, Mac, linux or Raspberry Pi).

If it is a channel preset (.chn)
* Select the channel
* Select the Load (right side) and select the Load channel preset
* Select the channel preset from the hard disc

If it is an FX preset (.efx)
* Select the FX tab at the top
* Click on the desired FX image. A separate window will appear with the FX interface.
* Select Load (right side)
* Select the FX preset from the hard disc
