That's a very good point, Ken. The apparently simple USB Audio interfaces seem to cause a disproportional amount of problems for new users. Should we also have a sub-forum for analogue mixers with USB interfaces or are we trying to stay on the digital side of the fence?

Thanks MJ. Yes, those blasted USB interfaces are the source of much confusion, particularly for Windows users. The Analog mixers don't get much love these days but it's worth having a spot for them. Some podcasters and internet radio stations are still using them. I have one instructor using a Xenyx 802 USB and it fits perfectly for her needs.

I have a 502USB and it's very handy when you need to get 24b/48k audio in and out of something. I love my Soundcraft Ghost analog desk.
