I’ve been having the same issue with a brand new X-32 and X-Dante card. Single pop when console is turned on with multiple channels peaking.
When X-Dante is plugged in to Primary, the pops occur. When unplugged aes50 works great, no issues.
I’ve tried 2 X-Dante cards, but same issue occurs. Only when I eliminate the card from the equation does the bird work fine.
All cards and consoles are updated.
Any help would be awesome.
X-Dante Card Problem
Re: X-Dante Card Problem
Console being turned ON creates a pop due to electrical signals stabilizing within the console. Known thing.
You should turn ON the console with the rest of equipment turned OFF, then turn ON elements in a correct sequence order to limit/suppress audio pops/surges, with turning ON amps being last.
Switch OFF using the reverse order.
Use an automated power sequencer if needed (In Studios, that can make sense)

Re: X-Dante Card Problem
That's been SOP in the analog world for almost a century. Surprised its an issue these days.
