Where does M32-Edit store its initialization file?
Specifically I want to restore the User layers to known settings. I think I would do this by restoring the .ini file from a secured backup.

What OS are you using, since the location is different in each OS. For Windows it is in the \Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\M32Edit (if I remember it correctly). For linux it is in the /Home/.M32-Edit folder

Yup - there they are, thank you.
3 files:
.init
.keys
.pref
I will create a quick batch file to restore all these files to a know source for when things get WAAAYYYY off the rails for our volunteer mixing cohort.
