UMC202HD WITH VB-CABLE

Hi, i use umc2hd as input and vb-cable as output in a audio processing software, after some days of normally playing suddenly the sound become intermittent. All the rates are in the same frequency, seems that something going on with the buffer samples in umc2hd, when i increase them the issue dissapear but i don't know if this process (high buffer samples) effect the sound quality.
