XENYX 1002 USB, send and receive sound from iPad

Hello,

i am trying to record a guitar with XENYX QX1002 connected to the iPad. And it's working. The problem is that if i connect my headphones to the mixer i hear only the guitar and not the sound coming from the iPad. So if i want to listen to what i have recorded on the iPad i will have to connect the headphones to the iPad. How can i listen to the sound coming from the iPad instead of the sound coming from the guitar when i connect the headphones to the mixer?
