Mute Function from Mixer to DP48

Post by Jrocka94 »

I have a Behringer Wing and a couple DP48's. Is there a way to have mutes affect channels on the DP48? For example, I want to mute aux in (music playback) and have it also mute that channel in the DP48. I also want to use my talkback function to work only when pressing the talkback button. With the X32, I would normally just setup a bus. I would love to avoid that so I could use that bus for other purposes. Any help would be great.

Hi @Jrocka94, welcome to our forum. On the Wing, in order to send a channel strip output (including all processing such as mutes), you need to first assign that channel strip to one of the User Signals (in the Routing section). Then assign that user signal to the desired AES50 output to the DP48. Same with the talkback.
