Adding to my 6 heavily used P-16M's I bought a "Non Working" unit on a well known auction site. The unit was exactly as described !
Plugging into the system, either the P-16I or P-16D, the unit steadfastly refuses to light up, but the supplying device notices a unit and lights its light.Powering from wall wart again has no lights on the P-16M.
Any thoughts from the group?
Thanks
Simon
Dead(ish) P-16M
Re: Dead(ish) P-16M
Thanks Gary, I had contemplated a Firmware update. I will give it a go.

Re: Dead(ish) P-16M
For completeness, a Firmware update and full Factory Reset have not improved the situation.
Anyone any suggestions ?
And who in the UK has the skills to repair the mixer ?

Re: Dead(ish) P-16M
Gary,
Thank you for your sympathy, I suspect that it might be a V1 unit and become a brick after a failed Firmware Upgrade.
I have made enquiries with one of the suggested companies on the screenshot, I will update if/when I hear back in case others are interested.

Re: Dead(ish) P-16M
Sadly, the UK repair shop emailed back:
The Pcbs are not currently available and unfortunately won't be for the foreseeable future.
Because of this it sadly makes it scrap.
So, looks like an expensive case and other bits acquired.
