Is there a good mobile app for iPhone users for the X Air XR16?

Welcome to our forum. Mixing Station is the best app in our opinion.

Yes. I think David allows 5x copies running per platform per license.

Would I have to purchase a desktop license for Mixing Station? I’ve downloaded the app for iPhone and can use on iPad, but can’t use on my MacBook.

Use the X-Air Edit on the Mac. It is found on the XR16 product page here (under Software on right).

Mixing Station is a license per platform, so yes, you'd need to purchase a Mac desktop license. I did, simply to continue to support David's development. BTW, with the newer version, you can load configs from the desktop onto the iPad and visa versa.
