Master sync/HA control

Post by Bobatasp »

Is it possible, when using two consoles and a shared DL32, to have one console be the Master sync but the other console have HA gain control?

Hi @Bobatasp, welcome to our forum. Yes indeed, you can have one console as master sync and another with HA gain control. Those are independent of each other. The HA control rule is that the console closest to the preamps (both local and any stageboxes connected to it) have, by default, HA control, unless it is relinquished to another console. This is accomplished by setting one of the HA Remote (AES50 A or AES50 B) in Setup, Preamps screen. If for example the AES50 A is selected, all console preamp control is relinquished to the console connected to the AES50 A port.

Master sync is set in the Setup, config (or Setup, Mixer in X32-Edit) screen.
