Hello All,
I recently purchased a X-Live card and am trying to answer a question. Once I record to X-Live SD card, can I play back the tracks through the mixer to a DAW(Studio One) or do I have to physically take out the SD card and use a third party company to get the tracks into Studio One?
SD playback to DAW within X-32 X-Live card
Re: SD playback to DAW within X-32 X-Live card
You change the routing (if needed) so your SD tracks are channeled to the USB connection and they are used as input to your DAW using ASIO. Play the SD session on X32, an record your new tracks in your DAW.
option 2, You remove the SD card, and copy the contents to your PC. Your DAW may be capable of exploding/decoding the multiwave format used by the SD card.
option 3, As above, but you use a program to extract data/explode the multiwave format into separare tracks that you can use in your DAW.
