And thanks in advance for reading. I'm having issues connecting my FX2000 to a Tascam DP32SD.
The FX2000 MIDI Light is on and I don't have midi cables connected, is this a setting issue or does the light automatically light up when midi is connected (I don't ever use midi)?
Also, when I press the mix dial, MUTE appears on the screen and the MIDI light goes off.
Also, the signal seems really quiet and hissy. And one other thing, the signal seems way louder on the left.
I have a jack to XLR cable going from send return 1 on the Tascam to the left XLR input on the FX2000. Then, I have 2 x XLR'S going from the 2 female XLR outputs on the FX2000 to two XLR inputs on the Tascam, assigned to a stereo track. The onboard BUS on the Tascam is also assigned correctly to the input signal where the mic XLR is inserted into the Tascam.
Sorry to be a pain, that mightn't be enough information. I've only really used onboard effects/guitar multi effects pedals straight into inputs with various machines for years but I wanted to try to produce something professional and I've just bought both units so I am, relatively speaking, a novice
