We have a X32 digital board used for church services only. A simple question that I can’t get to work.
I would like to used the USB port on the board for playback of pre service playlists and also accompaniment tracks for musicians and soloist. I’ve formatted the USB as FAT32 and loaded with both MP3 and WAV files but i still get a format error attempting to playback. I can record and playback on the same USB so pretty sure it Ian it device formatting but rather file format.
Any help?
USB playback format problem
Re: USB playback format problem
MP3 will not play. As to WAV files, they must be 16bits format as far as I recall. 1536kb/s for 48kHz files. The sampling rate (48k or 44.1k) must also match what's set in your X32.
Re: USB playback format problem
Hi @davidkohl, welcome to our forum. To add to what @pmaillot mentioned, make sure you are using USB 2.0 sticks, since the X32 does not work (reliably) with USB 3. Also, if you are using a Mac to format these drive, make sure you are using MSDOS FAT32, not Mac FAT32.
