X 32 screen flip

Got a report from the field that one of our Compacts booted up with a screen image upside-down and backwards. I won't have it in shop until tomorrow to investigate further.

Anyone encounter his before? And the remedy?

Save you scenes etc and then do a mixer initialize OR Firmware re-do. Maybe it does it.

Factory reset did nothing.
I've a replacement screen on way. (screen includes lots of drive circuitry on rear. I've replaced a dead one before)

Part is Innolux AT070TN83 V.1.

Did you try reinstalling the firmware? I can't think of a hardware error that could do that. I was wondering if it is corrupted firmware. I have seen settings to flip an image on some devices.

This screen is not dead though. And since the screen is displaying the information in a wrong orientation, however displaying it perfectly, I am with @KMaxwell that it would appear to be some kind of software issue. Given the long service life of this console and the 750,000 of them around the world, it's very unlikely that this is a new hardware issue.

Tried firmware update, and even installing older firmware. same result. Is there something deeper in software to be done?
