Behringer World Meetup: France

Hello fellow Behringer World devotees! Thanks to everyone who make this forum the amazing resource that it is.

I and my family will be visiting France in August. We will be meeting Patrick @pmaillot and his lovely wife and spending time exploring the beauty and cuisine that France has to offer largely under the expert guidance of Patrick and wife.

After some discussion, Patrick and I are exploring the feasibility of having a meetup for Behringer World users in Europe who would be interested in coming to Lyon, France to meet with Patrick and I. The proposed/tentative time frame would be the weekend August 11 - 13.

If this works out perhaps we could arrange a place for a big jam session (and of course, recorded with Behringer gear!).

So, please reply to this post with your thoughts on this idea and also the proposed dates.

I sure hope we can work something out because I would love to meet as many of you as possible.

That is a heck of a long way for you Paul, but it sure would be great to have you there!

Let's all put some thought into this and plan a specific meetup. In fact, anyone can plan a meetup anywhere/anytime.

I'm not looking for followers but I thought I should post my YouTube channel info here because I intend to live stream while in France. As you know, I'll be meeting Patrick @pmaillot and we might be able to talk Patrick into a live Q&A. I can certainly make a post on the channel's Community tab in advance with the time.

I don't care about channel growth and numbers. Understand that I'm not trying to get subs, but rather make it easy for people to find my live streams and also see what Patrick and I decide to do together. It sure would be great to have a little online party with Behringer World members!

We've been in Paris for several days. There is a cold snap and it's been between 16 and 20! Who knew it would be like this in August? lol We're going to meet Patrick @pmaillot in exactly 1 week. Too bad no one else seems to be in the area!

I finally got to meet Patrick in person! He and his wife have graciously opened their home to my family. We are having an amazing time! This is a beautiful part of France and the weather is perfect.
