Quite a lot of options that have been requested by users over the years. Thanks for the heads-up, Robert.

Maybe I have found something...
:
Ethernet control of the X32-Edit app was via
3 routers - connected on the backside / LAN ports (10 / 100 )
in series...and could cause network slow down,
Not ?
This is just on my home rig, where I set things up offline...
I found out yesterday when testing on a live rig that has only 1 router 10 / 100
and the X32-Edit app was a lot easier on cpu...
But still the question stays,
:
Why not such a big cpu hit when running in OSX 10.9.5 ?
Maybe I should upgrade my wlan routers to
10/100/1000 Lan port devices
?

Re: Updated editor v4.3 for the x/m32 released
@Klaus Is this part of a Dante network? Involving the X32 with X-Dante? If so you can eliminate the router and have a direct path for X32-Edit. At least Dante and X32 Edit won't need a router. I'm not using a Mac at the moment but X32-Edit is blistering fast used that way. I may miss the usage scenario. Gigabit Dante ready switches would be sweet but I'm guessing not entirely neccessary.
Re: Updated editor v4.3 for the x/m32 released
No, no Dante in this scenario...
I tried X-Dante on another - the same - rig,
and thought I had to use Dante controller to register connections from the secondary X-Dante plug to the Mac...
So from a Dante source ( A&H iLive IDR48 ) to X-Dante to X32Core ( card inputs / outputs )
you say I don't need a connection from secondary X-Dante plug to the Mac ?

Re: Updated editor v4.3 for the x/m32 released
@Klaus No you don't need. Primary X-Dante cable to your switch, short cable from secondary X-Dante port to X32 mixer network (remote) port. Allows direct connection to X32-Edit.
Re: Updated editor v4.3 for the x/m32 released
Errata :
Seems I was taking the screenshot from different layers -
X32-Edit seems to use more or less cpu depending on what is going on re: graphics, meters etc...
Prefs for meters are already set 50%...
Here are screenshots taken correctly,
still a difference in cpu between Mavericks and Yosemite....
Macmin3,1
Best

Re: Updated editor v4.3 for the x/m32 released
Thats what I meant
My X32-network is on 10/100 LAN ports on a DLINK router,
if I use Dante VSC on this Mac with above router, it will throttle down my Dante primary - line
correct ?
So I should go directly without router LAN ports ?
Thanks
Klaus
