Does the UMC204HD support balanced inputs and inserts ?

Hi,

The question is as per the title : does my UMC204HD support balanced TRS and/or XLR on the front panel Line/Istrument/Mic connections and balanced TRS on the inserts ?

Also, is a circuit diagram for this device available anywhere ?

Hi @Boo Welcome to the forums.

Yes, the UMC204HD has XLR/TRS Combo jacks for balanced inputs. The TRS also supports a TS unbalanced signal.

Inserts are unbalanced. Signal is sent out Tip and Received on Ring with Sleeve being the Ground.

There's an unofficial signal path diagram for the UMC404HD that also applies to the UMC204HD with the exception of 2x less inputs and the obvious differences in connector types.
