I’ve done a few things during my ‘career’, making my living, variously, as a salesman, driver, driving instructor and live sound guy before retiring in 2016. I’ve had an interest in live sound and recording and played guitar in bands since my teens so nearly 55 years now. My musical interests are broad, folk, blues, Americana, Country ,Bluegrass and, especially, for the last 13 years, Gypsy Jazz (I’ve been recording a Gypsy Jazz album for a few years now but my expectations always seem to exceed my talent… 
).
My other passion/obsession is sailing and I started sailing and racing dinghies in my teens, and windsurfers In the early ’80s. In my spare time I ride bikes (pedal powered these days but I still think of myself as a motorcyclist even though I sold my last bike 30 years ago) and hang around places like this.
My forum name came from my CB handle which in turn was pinched off a Bonzo Dog Band album.
