DP48 issue

Hi all. Iv managed to get the whole band on DP48’s
However there seems to be a bit of an issue. My rhythm guitar sound is ok but My solo guitar overdrive sound, sounds like I’m underwater with notes cutting in/out very quickly making it impossible to listen to…I narrowed this problem down to the compressor, once turned off it was ok (it just means I can’t use compression any more). My drummer is having the same problem however he does not have any compression on? as a result of this he can not have guitar in his monitors… no idea how to remedy this problem.
