Re: Show Manager Update
Hey Paul!
First and foremost I hope this message finds you well after the new year. I've been using Show Manager v1.05 to which you'd linked several months ago, and I have found that it does indeed execute the sort function in exactly the fashion that you'd indicated. I am, however, still having some difficulty - I tried to paste a block of consecutive scenes that I had cut into open slots (of which there are an adequate number) and received this error:

Was wondering if you could advise!

Re: Show Manager Update
Hmm... evidently the sorting issue that resulted in the "out of range" error is affecting the cut/paste code as well. I'll have a look at it shortly. Could you do the same as you did last time and provide your show package and what block of scenes you are trying to move from and where to? Thanks

Re: Show Manager Update
Hey Paul,
You've got it - here is the link to the zip of the show file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10dVSds ... sp=sharing
I'm looking to move pretty much all of the scenes in slots 6 through 56 to the bottom of the list - they are scenes saved by past engineers that I don't want to delete outright, but just to write over more or less sequentially. Ideally I would just be able to export and re-sort the whole show file alphabetically every month or so.
Thank you so much!

Hey @No_Season_5288, thanks for the show package. The bug was in the paste code. Here is the Show Manager 1.06 Windows executable.

Re: Show Manager Update
Hey Paul, it is my pleasure - thank YOU so much!
It appears that to the very largest degree the paste function in the updated version of Show Manager is working, with only one minor issue - when I cut the scenes number 006 through 056 and pasted them into the open slots 48 through 98, the first pasted scene did not transfer:

Otherwise it appears that everything else did perfectly. Thank you so much for all of your asssistance - glad to be helping particpate in the development of your projects!

Re: Show Manager Update
I just tested it here and got the same results (missed that when I was debugging at 1:00am this morning). I'll have a look shortly and find out what is going on.

Re: Show Manager Update
That sounds great to me! Let me know if you need any other insights or information from me - I am happy to help in any way that I can.
Re: Show Manager Update
You've already been a great help. I found the problem. I had limited the clipboard to 50 lines and you copied 51. The clipboard capacity has been increased to 100 and code has been added to restrict pasting beyond the 100 line limit of the scene and snippet list.
Please delete your current Show Manager executable and use this one instead. And let me know if you find any other bugs.

Hey Paul, it is my pleasure - so far as I can tell, the app is working perfectly now! Just wanted to let you know that for whatever reason the size of the .exe file has increased more than sevenfold, from 3.6 megabytes to 27 megabytes. Again, it does not appear to affect the functionality of program, but I just wanted to let you know.
Thank you again!
