Greetings,
Using an Xair 18 mixer, connecting to P16 monitors with the ultranet connection.
Using backing tracks with a click. The click "count offs" are sometimes much louder than the click itself on the prerecorded click track. i.e. A real human or recorded computerized voice count's off "ONE, TWO, THREE..." This part of the backing track is WAY too loud compared to the subsequent click on the same track.
Is there a way to run compression on a single channel to mitigate the extreme loud and soft count off vs click?
I know how to run compression on the Xair mixer, but it doesn't seem to effect the levels coming out of the P16 channel
Thanks in advance.
Dave.
P16 Compression
Re: P16 Compression
Hi @datbrown , welcome to the forum. To include the X18 channel compression for the Ultranet feed to the P16, change the click track channel's tap to pre-fader (which will include all channel processing except the main fader).

Ok, Thanks!
Is that under "routing" and "P16 Outputs"?
