SL16 Firmware update to 2.7

Hi everyone,

I just got aware of the fact that there is a 2.7 release for the S16 but there is no release notice coming with it.
Does anyone know the differences to 2.6?

I just want to make shure not getting any surprise after updating.
I hope modes 11 and 12 are still supported unchanged.

@streamfuchs, the 2.7 release was a production release to accommodate newer S16's with different chipsets (due to the global chipset shortage).

Yes that is correct.

Yes, it can be used on the older S16 as well.

Not that I'm aware of. It was released primarily to make it compatible with the new chipset. That is probably why there is no release notes included.
