I Bought A New Drone

Hard to find in Taiwan, but I got my hands on the new DJI Mini 3 Pro, with the extended battery Fly More kit. It has exceeded my expectations. I have never flown a drone before and I shot this on the second day of using it:



I'm already working on a new video of my favorite waterfall in Taiwan. Its 70m tall and I flew right up close and personal with it. I can see this being a huge time waster!

Taiwan is the most beautiful place I've been. I call it "God's Thumbprint" when I tell people about it. You should bring your wife here and check it out for yourself. You can circumnavigate the entire island in a matter of a week, taking your time and shooting photos and videos, not to mention the glorious food! Thanks @pvannatto

I had my drone with me in the car when I spotted a column of smoke. I flew it over and shot this video. Its so stable that it looks like the camera was on a building. Shot in 4k/30. I took a 360 and posted it to Google Maps. You probably saw that 360 posted to FB already.

The words at the beginning of the Tofu Rocks could be held a bit longer. I'm a fast reader, but not that fast. My wife loved the waterfall video. She was curious as to what the orange was on the rock face.

Thanks Paul. The Tofu Rocks video was long enough! Actually it was too long. As for the orange, I'm not sure, but Taiwan is known as a geologist's dream with all kinds of minerals in the rock.
