I'm just trying to use a decent mic for my zoom calls.
I've got a truly simple setup: audio-technica mic plugged into xlr input 1, usb cable connected to windows 11 pc. The Behringer box is getting power from the usb; the "power" and "phantom power" lights are on. If I talk into the mic, the "sig" light comes on. So far, so good.
I've got driver v5.51 installed on the pc. For a little while, the UMC404HD was showing up on the PC, though no audio came through when I selected it as an input source. Now, it doesn't even show up. I've tried unplugging, rebooting, rebooting while unplugged, rebooting and unplugging while drinking... nothing.
Any idea what I might be missing? Could I need more power than the USB port is supplying?

Hi @jmk Welcome to the Community.

Have you looked in Device Manager to see if you have any yellow exclamation points for unrecognized devices? For the power question, are you using a port on the front or back of the PC? Ports not directly connected to the motherboard have a tendency to be lower-powered.
