Re: Flow 8 for live work
Hi Paul, For several months I've been carrying a Flow 8 as a backup for smaller shows with a Mackie DL16S. Yesterday I did my first gig with the Flow 8 and it went well - two Vox, two Guitars(with DIs) and two-track for pre-show music. The active DIs were on channels 1/2(for the phantom power), and ...

Re: 'width' in full parametric EQ mode
Hi Erik, Filter Q on the Flow 8 is likely similar to other parametrics. A Q of 1 is commonly about the same as the width of the filters on a standard graphic equalizer. Going smaller than 1, the filter is wider, and can be good for a broad boost. Going above 1, the filter width is narrower. Usually ...

Re: Flow 8 routing help
Hi FS,
Have you gone to Routing and set the Monitor 1/2 to Pre?
Then, from the main page click on Mon1 at the top, and bring up the channels you want in that mix, and
repeat for Mon2.
Remember to bring up the mix faders for 1 & 2.
Thanks and good health, Weogo

Re: stream over bluetooth to BT speakers
Hi BK,
I was wrong - you CAN have BT control and BT audio going at the same time, from the same device or two separate devices.
But only one BT control device at a time.
Thanks and good health, Weogo

Re: stream over bluetooth to BT speakers
Hi bk,
I don't believe so.
Am pretty sure you have to choose either:
A) BT audio in
or
B) BT mixer control
BT has significant latency, which can be an issue in some audio situations.
Thanks and good health, Weogo

Re: Flow iOS App - Latency
Hi Paul, Analog-in to analog-out, the Flow 8 is a pretty low-latency device. The 200ms indication in the app is a mistake. DCSounOp has a good video on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiFK5IJavHI It can do three, separate delays,up to 341.3ms, on the main and monitor outputs. Thanks and good h...

Re: Snapshot overwrite?
Hi EHM,
Good question, that I too want answered.
Additionally, how can a snapshot be deleted, other than completely re-setting the mixer?
Thanks and good health, WR
